It’s been an amazing experience since day 1 - I love the intentionality behind each session and love that my boys are able to see and be taught by black men and woman. You won’t regret bringing your babies here. I’m lookin got start my 18 month old soon. And a special mention to the fact that they now supply a tent for the children to change in. Probably thanks to me having to hold up a towel for my son to change 😂😂😂 Thank you all again! ★★★★★Jetaime McKinneyWhat a wonderful experience we have had with Coach Jess and the instructors at Goode Strokes Swimming School! My daughter started lessons terrified and with very little skills to swim in the water. They have been so patient and met her where she was, taking time with her each lesson to give her the support she needs. She grew to be so comfortable in the water with them and even didn’t want to leave when lessons were over. We had a lesson this week and my girl was swimming unassisted back and forth to Coach Jess, and my heart smiled!! It’s been about 3 months and I’m just so proud of my daughter, and thankful for Goode Strokes Swimming School.

They are located inside of the LA Fitness (but not affiliated) so the cool thing is you don't need to be a member to get swim lessons. I went to their open house yesterday - saw it on Tiktok and LOVE that I wasn't made to feel silly for my questions. Jess the owner is extremely personable, experienced and loves what she does!! 🙌 I have a couple of friends who cannot swim so they will be glad she teaches adults and I will be looking to get my nieces enrolled when they visit in the summer but overall I feel comfortable and that's what matters most!

We tried other swimming schools, and she mostly just played in the water. But at Goode Strokes, she went from just playing to actually swimming in a fraction of the time. The instructors are fantastic and their teaching method is clearly effective. I can't recommend Goode Strokes enough. If you want a school that gets real results and builds confidence in the water, this is the place to go!
