This company is not particularly interested in teaching step by step fundamental basics of safe swimming for beginners. No discernible lesson plan, and no continuity between instructors as the instructor was frequently someone different. This program is not for a new beginner looking to learn safe swimming techniques like treading water, back floating, etc. One little girl about 3 years old slipped under the water's surface once while we were there and the mother had to bang on the window to alert the instructor to pay attention. Yikes. Typical company looking to trap you in a recurring membership payment and that's all.

First, I want to give a big shout out to Coach Ryn. She is amazing with our 2 year old. I feel she truly enjoys what she does with the toddlers and gives individualized attention to every one of her students. We look forward to seeing her every week. She has a gift for this! We also have our 4 year old in lessons as well, however I feel that she does not receive the same attention her sister gets in class. She typically has one instructor, which is also very inconsistent on who it is, and up to 3 swimmers for this one instructor. I see her week after week repeating the same lessons over and over with different instructors, and because of this I feel her learning and progress could use some process improvement. These are just my observations. Overall, we do love this place, and would recommend it to anyone. It’s a new, clean facility. All the staff are amazing, kind, and helpful. They’re great at communication as well, and are flexible and accommodating to schedule changes. I can’t speak to whether this is a good deal or not, as I have nothing to compare it to, however for what I spend I feel it’s a very good value for what we get. in the near future I hope to see my concerns addressed, and look forward to lessons for many more years to come.

We absolutely love Big Blue Swim! From the moment we signed up, the entire process has been incredibly smooth. Scheduling lessons is easy and flexible, and any time we’ve had a question, the staff has been quick to respond and very helpful. The instructors are truly amazing—patient, encouraging, and great at connecting with young kids. My children, ages 3 and 4, have made huge progress in a short amount of time. They’ve gained confidence in the water, learned real swimming skills, and most importantly, they’re excited to go to class every week. It’s clear the staff genuinely cares about helping kids feel safe and have fun. We’ve had such a positive experience and highly recommend Big Blue Swim to any family looking for high‑quality swim lessons.
