Camp Kateri runs seasonal programs year round for girls, Girl Scout troops, and Adult volunteers.Among the activities available are Swimming, Canoeing, Sailing, Kayaking, Archery, Crafts, Campfires, Leadership and Life skills training in a safe, fun environment. Acommodations are varied and set in groupings around the property. Housing includes fully enclosed wooden cabins that sleep 8-16 with bunk beds and bathrooms, Tree house' style raised tent cabins sleeping 4-ish, Tent-Cabins, with wood half-walls and roofs and mesh sides sleeping 4-6, a set of modern cabins that sleep 8-ish,with Showers and bathrooms in a separate activity building, and a 21? Bed modern cabin with a/c by the lake. Maybe more. Something for all types of groups looking to use the facility, or campers going to a GSGC run program. A fantastic Camp for Girl Scouts, run by Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. Summer camps for all Girls, Kindergarten through High School, available to all girls, not just Girl Scouts. Younger girls enjoy the camp and benefit from background checked, (mostly) female mentors and the encouragement and guidance from older Girl Scouts who can be trained and work or volunteer as Counselors and Program Aides, and more. Opportunities for fun in Nature, while learning independence, self confidence, and responsibility along the way. Older girls/young adults continue to enjoy the camp while learning leadership skills and receive training according to their age to become Counselors or Program Aides, and to earn money and volunteer hours as well.

Went with 2 of my granddaughters for a Girl Scout archery weekend. All 3 of us enjoyed the camp, the company and the whole experience.

We came here with our GS Troop 61234. We LOVED it! The hosts were so accommodating and everything was so well planned out. Our troop loved all of the activities and had so much fun. We plan on coming back again, soon!

The camp area looks good. The treehouses are very interesting. The place is spacious and there is a lot of space for kids to enjoy the outdoors.
