Powered by GoogleSmall but well kept at action dedicated to the preservation of sea turtles. Great for kids and adults alike. Maintained by volunteers so be sure to leave a donation as you enter, although not mandatory. Guided tours convene at certain times. The beach is accessible from the back parking.
My wife and I visited here late in the morning on March 23, 2026. It was our second or third visit here. It's truly a wonderful place that does great work and has tons of unpaid volunteers who are fully dedicated to preserving and protecting the precious resource comprised of our five species of sea turtles. Everything here is well designed from a museum display perspective, and all of the rescued turtle tanks are kept very clean and fully functional. We also watched a turtle being operated on through the glass windows of the attached animal hospital. Admission is free, but we gave a $40 donation upon entry. The kids will love this place, and its mission is so good that it will convince them to all become good stewards of the environment and conservationists. There is quite a bit of parking in the free parking lot on the south side of the facility.
This was an incredible experience for my family and me. I recommend to take the 1hour guide tour. Our guide was Mackenzie, she was amazing!! She taught us everything about sea turtles and the care they give to them in the center, also she was very lind and passionate about the topic. We was lucky and saw a sea turtle coming out of surgery, it was a very cute moment. I learned a lot and i did love it! Thank you!!
One of our destinations on our 6 week camping trip. We loved loved loved this place! And love the passion of all staff members and volunteers. Alice greeted us upon arrival and got us headed in the right direction before our scheduled tour. Free admission to walk around by yourselves and enjoy some of the educational talks, including the shark feeding. We added on the $20 tour (max of 20 people) and it was well worth it! Tina, our guide, was AMAZING. Very personable, funny, and knowledgeable. Thank you all for all you do for Sea Turtles AND all marine life.🤗❤️
Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a unique place! It is amazing how everybody takes care of the turtles, protecting them, rescuing them, healing them and returning them to the sea. They are all very nice and passionate for each one of the turtles. We had the opportunity to visit the tracking lab, the ICU area, listening with lot of interest about all activities involved. They monitor huge amount of turtles! It is a great educational place for kids. 🐢🐢🐢🪼🪼🪼
