My nephew has made lifelong friends after being at this summer camp. As a civil engineer, I am flabbergasted at the activities and projects he brought home and how much understanding he retained about the complexities behind the lessons. Miss Ale is very animated when she teaches and he thrives with that type of teaching. This, along with the other aspects at this camp make me believe this is the best STEM camp in Palm Beach County!

The Science Academy, or should it be called the Fraud Academy? I enrolled my son in The Science Academy for 3 weeks expecting 3 weeks of fun and learning. I didn't expect to sign up for bullying, learning curse words and the so-called managers and director calling my son a liar. The first week, thus the 1-star, my son genuinely enjoyed himself, he did science experiments but also came home complaining about bullying immediately after drop off and hearing the older kids use curse words. This was not a one time thing, this was an ongoing problem but I was never notified that there were actual incident reports involving my son until I demanded my money back for the weeks that I pulled him out of camp. The camp has no transparency, I should have been notified the day that the first incident report was created. I should not have to find out from my 7 year old. I called the camp to discuss the incident because my son was adamant about not going back because of the bullying. The ‘manager’ that I talked to offered no help and even went on to call my son a liar and said that there was no way that he could be bullied by an older student because they were not together. You can see into the window, the group of kids during drop off from 8am to 9am all together in a room, K-8th grade…. He also refused to refund my money for the weeks that I pulled him out. Once this manager essentially called us liars, I demanded to speak to someone else. The next person, once again, was no help. She initially denied the allegations, once again saying that there was no way that he could have been bullied by an older kid. She dug into the files, then found incident reports where an older kid did in fact continually knock down my son's Lego’s that he was building. I was even more upset that there are actual incident reports and the only reason that I am finding out is because I demanded to know more about why my son came home complaining! Since she was once again, no help, the “Director” and I use that term loosely, called me to discuss the issues. As she was the third person that I was talking to, I was quite infuriated and annoyed, I simply just wanted my money back. All this “Director” could say was “Per the documents you signed…” I frankly don’t care about the documents that I signed. I did not sign my son up to get bullied, I did not sign my son up to be in an environment where he was constantly hearing curse words… I demanded my money back. The “Directors” answer was “This conversation is over---CLICK”. I threatened to take my son’s experience public, so here it is. THE SCIENCE ACADEMY, you should be ashamed of yourself.

My son has been attending for 3 years (even with the limited class sizes last summer). He LOVES the camp, and its staff...Mr. David, Ms. Bravo, Tiffany, Isabella, Zach, Tamara, Ms. Alle. He eagerly discribes the fantastic days he has with dissection, chemistry, legomation, robotics, minecraft, science and physics. He brings home projects and has made long term friends there. He tells others about the camp and urges them to join. I have spoken with other parents who have sent their children to other camps. This Program is THE BEST.

This summer camp offers so much for kids of all ages! My kid loves dissection! In previous years they have dissected frogs, worms, owl pellets, and today they dissected a flower... Who knew you could dissect a flower?! If your child loves science, this is the campenfor them. They will come out with a renewed appreciation and passion for everything STEM!

I absolutely love this camp! They offer both Spring AND Summer! My cousin is a returning alum and loves all the science that is incorporated into each activity! They use Merge Cube, Ozobots, circuit boards, coding using iPad, Minecraft, and lego crafting! I highly recommend this camp for all ages! Especially young child, they have a certified teacher who is specialized in Early Childhood Education 🤩! 💚STEM💚
