Fort Wilderness is a Christian overnight camp in the Northwoods near McNaughton (north of Rhinelander), founded in 1956. It serves campers from age 4 through completion of 12th grade in one- and two-week sessions that blend traditional camp activities such as archery, canoeing, horseback riding, and crafts with daily devotionals and Bible teaching, hosting roughly 6,500 campers a year.

The cabin was spacious and exceptionally clean, as were all the common areas. The stable staff was so incredibly kind and patient with us. They eased my anxiety of riding and I actually was able to enjoy my time out on my horse! The food. Oh my, the food! Everything about it was amazing!
