Our son has had the most amazing experience at Camp Timberlane. He has gone three years (he was 11 his first year) and we intend to sign him up for next summer. There are activities for everyone, including our more artistic son. We love that he is active and screen free for the entire session. Camp Timberlane provides a supportive environment for all kids.

We couldn’t love this camp more! My two boys have spent the past several summers here, and this year they’re staying for the full eight weeks for the first time. I had the chance to visit them this past weekend and see their camp life in action — and I couldn’t be happier with what I saw. They are supported, encouraged, and truly thriving in an environment that fosters personal growth. Each of them is met exactly where they are, and their camp experience is tailored to their unique interests and needs. The activities and facilities are top-notch. Thanks to the skilled staff and instructors, my son was able to master waterskiing within a week of arriving! They also love the food, the games, and, of course, spending time with their friends. We’re so grateful to have found this gem of a camp — it’s given our boys memories and confidence that will last a lifetime!

This is our son’s third year at Camp Timberlane, he first went at age 12. We searched and searched to find a traditional all boys summer camp (without cell phones & computers) and are so glad we chose Camp Timberlane! There are lots of non-competitive sports including trampball, basketball, soccer, etc. Waterskiing! Campfires! We get lots of communication and photos from camp including letters home. Our son returns refreshed with warm memories, new experiences and skills, and friends. It’s everything you could want in a summer camp. 10 Stars!

My son has had the best summer of his life at Camp Timberlane EVERY year.... That is, until the next summer comes along and raises the bar. We are already signed up for next summer. Based on what he has told me about his summers, it seems he really thrives under care of the patient and supportive staffmembers, incredibly exciting and engaging activities, (surprisingly) delicious food, and a community feeling he misses for weeks after coming home. He made SO many friends, and he takes every opportunity he has to connect with them outside of camp. I think he talked about his friends most when he got home, followed by his adventures at waterskiing and trampball. As a teacher and a parent, I appreciated the camp's communications with me, particularly since my son has some learning exceptionalities and really struggled post-Covid with a group living environment. The staff was supportive, reached out to me when they had questions on how to best help him, and held him accountable while still recognizing his growth and advancing his journey towards him being his "best self." (That was what he said he felt like after coming home this past summer. (Which he shared only AFTER he told me how excited he was to learn to slalom ski.)) I simply can't say enough good about this place. If you want a summer home-away-from-home for a young man, THIS is where he needs to be. If "it takes a village" to raise a kid, you've found an amazing one, all full of boys working towards becoming their "best selves."
