Fluvanna County Parks and Recreation offers youth sports and classes, from basketball and Tae Kwon Do to horseback riding and dog obedience. Its Saturday basketball league at Carysbrook Gymnasium runs from January to March 2027 in four age groups across ages 7 to 17, and Little Tykes (ages 3 to 4) and Mighty Mites (ages 5 to 6) basketball meet there on Saturdays in November and December. After School Tae Kwon Do Karate for ages 5 to 18 meets on Wednesdays at Carysbrook Gymnasium, and horseback riding classes for ages 6 to 95 run through December at Eqqus Springs Farm.
