Really enjoying our membership so far! I do wish the child care area time was more in line with the class schedule so we could enjoy the classes and still work. The class starts at 8 but you have to be there 10-15 mins ahead of time to get a spot. The child care opens at 8. No way to get there drop off child and still get a spot without playing reservation games. Can't go earlier becusee no child care. Can't go later because I work and do not get off intime to have care in the evenings either. I would LOVE to bring my child with me as she is AMAZING but it is not allowed as most kids do not participate like she does. Anyway, would love to see better child care hours but the rest is perfect

ive only been coming here for a month since my gym closed down and it has been fine other than the rude older bald man that’s a worker on the second floor last weekend decided to be very rude out of no where and stop me in the middle of my workout to say “ are you going to just sit there or are you going to do a set” mind you I just got done with a set and was changing the song for less than 30 seconds. multiple men were on there phones resting in between their sets and me (the only girl in that area) was approached. seems a little targeted. idk im cancelling and moving gyms now, but I wish they’d hire better staff. He also was weirdly enough in full uniform using half the workout machines and then would monitor certain people.

Excellent aquafit program and the best pools! During my short visit to Louisville, I tried out aquafit classes at this facility. The staff are very friendly and efficient, especially Stephanie. I was very impressed by the 3 pools. There is something for everyone. I observed 2 classes in the main pool. One instructor teaches on the poolside (for medium and shallow water depth) and the other instructor (for deep water) guides participants in the water. That is well-planned as it would be hard to see the movements in the shallow water. Andrea taught the aqua Pilates in the warm water pool and she was fantastic! I have done aquafit daily for years and I watch some YouTube videos for further inspiration but I still learned some new moves from Andrea!! She was very detailed in her demonstrations and gave modifications for people based upon their challenge level. If I lived in Louisville, I would definitely become a regular at this Y!

Everyone should be aware that the Y now has a 30 day cancellation policy they decided to slip in for everyone as of 1/1/26. I tried to cancel on 1/27, but not I get to pay for February as well. So if you want to cancel understand they are going to get you for one more month for good measure. I'm cancelling because when I go to the heated pool to exercise I have to be crowded into one side so they can hold their classes on the other side which leaves little room to work out. The only times I can go up there, is the times they have their classes (swim lessons) which several times they have used parts of the other side of the pool as well cutting down even more on the space for paying members to use.
