I'll leave a 5 star review because I don't like contributing to killing a companies star rating. HOWEVER!! This place costs $95 a month to ride the bike trails and you can't access them late on Fridays or at all on Saturdays because the owner I do believe is probably Jewish.. We have way better trails in the area at Ride Kanuga for only $50 a month.. and I mean way.. way better... And you can ride them all weekend long.. who on earth is spending $95 here for the bike trails? Crazy lol. I bet lowering prices back to $75 a month and hiring a small crew that aren't Jewish so it can operate late Friday and all day Saturday would probably be a wise business decision.

I love this place. I have been going for six months and have never been disappointed. The routes are great. They change them before you get bored but not so often that you can’t finish a project. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I have only had positive experiences with anyone that works there. The community in this place is amazing. Everyone is so supportive. My daughter was working on a particular route for weeks and when she finally sent it everyone in the autobelay area cheered. So heartwarming. The facility is always incredibly clean. I love that the cafe serves food from the local coop but also has a few inexpensive options if you just need something small. Also, random side note- I happened to be there when they were doing some landscaping and noticed they used organic mulch and mushroom compost. Really appreciate they are making the greener choice. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try out climbing or maintain fitness.

Our family just started going to Fiddlehead recently and we love it! The staff members are friendly and competent. Our 8 year old son and his friends who came with us are complete beginners at climbing and they absolutely loved it. The other people who are more regular clients were also so kind and encouraging towards the boys and helped them finish going to the top. They also had a blast on the bike courses! We spent 5 hours there easily and my son wanted to climb more after biking. I appreciate how clean the facilities are, the yummy smoothies and other healthy food options they have from the Hendersonville co-op. We enjoyed it so much we purchased the monthly membership. Highly recommend this place for a fun, family friendly way to stay active in a positive environment.

As a former member of Riveter, I was a little hesitant to sign up for Fiddlehead after seeing some of the reviews online. But after climbing at Fiddlehead numerous times over the last couple of months, I felt compelled to leave a review. In my personal opinion, the new management improved the space itself. My review is based solely on my experience of the climbing gym- including the lobby, cafe, and interactions with the staff. I’m not commenting on whether or not they should be hosting more community based events, remain opened on Saturdays, allow crop tops, etc. Those are personal preferences and will not be included in this review. Each staff member I have met and interacted with has been extremely helpful and friendly. The space itself is clean and inviting. The bathrooms are stocked with feminine hygiene products and are always clean. They added saunas to each of the locker rooms. They expanded the gym area, which offers tons of weights, functional equipment, a rowing machine, pelotons, and more. It’s also beautiful and has ultra high ceilings, natural lighting, and picturesque views of the mountains in the distance. The coffee bar offers locally baked treats from the Hendersonville co op. Most importantly, the auto belays are reliable and very convenient for climbing solo. I would recommend fiddlehead to anyone looking for a climbing gym.
