Feel the Beat is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit adaptive dance studio for all ages, skill levels and abilities, based inside the Whitlock Recreation Center in Lakewood with a second location in Westminster. It teaches ages 3 through seniors, grouping classes by age (youth, and teen/adult) and by learning style, and offers ASL and adaptive instruction. Classes run continuously year-round with a break from late May to early June, and the studio also runs workshops built around dance fundamentals, rhythm, counting and choreography, adapted to diverse learning styles and physical needs.

Feel the Beat is a nonprofit founded by Jari Majewski a teacher, dance instructor and community advocate. This dance school and program have something for every child and youth. The studio caters to children who are Deaf and/or hard of hearing and who may have other challenges. The staff is warm, loving, patient and well diverse.
