Powered by GoogleI have been to many rec centers in the city of Minneapolis. I’ve never had a problem at any one of them except for Farview. The staff was rude and unaccommodating to my daughter and her friend, who were in attendance to watch their siblings play basketball. Since first graders have short attention spans, they like to play in the rec center. This has never been an issue at ANY OTHER REC CENTER. But the staff told me they couldn’t supervise them and couldn’t be unsupervised. Umm, it’s a rec center. As in recreation. It’s built for kids to enjoy. When I asked why this is the only rec center in the city that’s given us a problem, I was told I could speak to the director. OK, bureaucrat!
We played football here on Friday night, August 9 2024. They refused to turn the lights on. What a shame. Kids played in darkness!
Alfred is horrible at communicating. I sent him an email over two weeks ago I'm still waiting on him to respond back to me. Other than that it wasn't too bad to rent out. Price is reasonable. I would just rather work with someone other than Alfred.
Everyone here, for as the staff or great. The kids at times can be over the top but hey that's kids right! Let me add, how they stay with different types of snacks and drinks. A straight plus. Must I shout out Ms. Tiffany and her beautiful dance team/The Dancing Diva's.. They are dedicated beautiful diva's who would rather be doing something positive, then out in the street doing something negative.😘😘
Limited parking during an event, but center is very nice!
