★Eric SteinkeI have been to many rec centers in the city of Minneapolis. I’ve never had a problem at any one of them except for Farview. The staff was rude and unaccommodating to my daughter and her friend, who were in attendance to watch their siblings play basketball. Since first graders have short attention spans, they like to play in the rec center. This has never been an issue at ANY OTHER REC CENTER. But the staff told me they couldn’t supervise them and couldn’t be unsupervised. Umm, it’s a rec center. As in recreation. It’s built for kids to enjoy. When I asked why this is the only rec center in the city that’s given us a problem, I was told I could speak to the director. OK, bureaucrat!
★JACOBandDADWe played football here on Friday night, August 9 2024. They refused to turn the lights on. What a shame. Kids played in darkness!
