The Falmouth Commodores are a Cape Cod Baseball League collegiate summer team, not a kids summer camp; their youth offering is a Youth Development Clinic at Guv Fuller Field where children train alongside the college players on the roster. Clinics run at Rookie, Advanced and Elite levels for ages 5-13, covering hitting, base running, infield and outfield play, pitching, catching and baseball IQ at a small player-to-coach ratio, with a separate track for high school players ages 14-18 that adds analysis technology and personalized portfolios. Sessions run four mornings a week, 9:00am to 11:30am, weekly from late June through the end of July - a two-and-a-half-hour clinic rather than a camp day. Players usually get time for autographs afterward, and the last day ends with a slip and slide.

★★★★★Mark SmithThe Falmouth Commodores play in the Cape Cod Baseball League. It's for college players, many using wooden bats for the first time. MLB scouts are usually in attendance, looking for talent for their parent club to draft. The players work hard, but after the game, they usually sign autographs and talk with the fans. The staff are like the players, most are college interns looking to see if a career in baseball is for them. The park itself got serious upgrades in 2022. They have a merch store and a decent variety of concessions. Lots of bleacher seating, although many families bring lawn chairs or blankets and sit on the grass. Admission is free, but they take donations, which are crucial to keeping the club operational as they get no money from the MLB. Very friendly crowd, come, you'll have a great time!
★★★★Matthew BartekFun and wholesome way to spend an evening in Falmouth. The level of play is above college baseball, and many of these players are recruited to the major leagues. There are over 300 major-league players who came from the Cape Cod league currently playing! For food, bring food into the field because the line for the food station is very very long. For parking, you should park at the Falmouth recreation center.
★★★★★Kevin GrienerThis is my least favorite of the 5 western fields, but relatively recent improvements (new scoreboard & home side bleachers) have brought it much closer to par for the League. At 320' down the lines and 385' to center, the field is a bit small even for the CCBL, but not distractingly so (*ahem*, YARMOUTH). Osprey nest on one of the light fixtures, which is awesome. Make sure you arrive early, because if the adjacent lot is full, you might find yourself with a bit of a hike from whatever parking you manage to find. And bring bug spray - it's not certain you'll have mosquitoes to deal with, but you might. They have to do something about the visitor side bleachers. That's an embarrassment.
