Essex Youth Theater runs a summer theater day camp at The Studio Playhouse in Montclair for children ages 6-13, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:30pm. The camp spans six-plus weeks in July and August, and families choose either two-week musical sessions or one-week musical and play sessions, with campers starring in a new show each week. Scripts are custom-written so roles are equal, and class sizes are kept small.
