Powered by GoogleI come here 3-5 times per week. The gym is pretty solid. Spacious and usually doesn’t feel too crowded. The pool is the opposite. It is always crowded and the water is NASTY. Way too cloudy and salty to be considered clean. I have a cough and/or stomach ache for a day or two after every hard workout. The locker room is pretty gross too. There are “no spitting” signs all over it so that should tell you a lot. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone cleaning it during the day.
This is a great gym and they have a beautiful pool.I think I spend more time in the pool than I do on the stair stepper LOL
Love the gym, the people and the views of the bay. Equipment is high quality with lots of options. Classes are many with something for all ages, skills and interests. Price of membership is super reasonable. It's the best deal in town.
So grateful for the YMCA staff today. I dropped my ring in the pool and panicked a bit, but Juan quickly figured out where it was and Westley helped retrieve it, even though it wasn’t easy. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and quick to act. Moments like this are why the YMCA feels like more than a gym. Thank you so much.
Great view of the bay bridge and pier. Staff are amazing. Towels provided. Sauna and steam sauna available.
