Powered by GoogleOur kiddo became ill for the basketball camp and the camp director was so easy to work with regarding changing the week. They even picked up the phone! Impressive! There was no fuss or tacked on charges for that. They had an amazing group of counselors that were so energetic and very respectful to the young ones. That’s really important as they are role models for them. Whenever we picked up early, i would simply observe interactions and saw how much fun every kid had during their games. The staff were attentive to the counselors in training as well. Our first time here and it will not be the last. They are excited for camps next summer!
My kiddos love the camp and they want to go back. Staff made it very easy to drop off an pick up.
Both of my kids loved this camp. It’s held at MVHS and the kids were so busy playing different sports and activities! We feel great supporting this camp as all proceeds go toward MVHS!
My son has attended the multi-sport camp week for the past two years and loved it! He's asked to go back again this summer. In particular, he liked the ability to try multiple sports, including ones that were less familiar to him. Choices such as swimming or arcade time gave him a sense of ownership and let him try new things. He raved about his counselors who were positive, enthusiastic, and engaging. As a parent, I appreciated him having great role models in the students and adults who served as his counselors and managed the camp. All in all, Spartans Sports Camp was a fantastic experience and a great value for our family. We'll definitely be choosing it again and again.
As a parent, I would say that if you are looking for a place for your child to make friends, try new things and be active while having a good time, Look no farther than Spartans Camp at MV High School. The staff is kind and attentive with plenty of experience. Doug Wiersig has been running the camp for years now and have plenty of experience ensuring that the camp is a fun and safe place for kids to both learn new skills and enjoy themselves. My kid love the camp -- he is always enjoying the company of his friends, neighbors or classmates as this is a community and neighborhood camp This is a great place to put your kids right after the schools ends.
