My girl enjoyed AR game design camp. Initially she hope to join the robotics camp but it filled up. She loved creating her own AR games, designing colorful worlds that she can play with. The best part was playing inside her creations together; we'd move around the wonder land, interacting with her animated characters and scenes like we'd stepped into a living storybook. The camp taught coding logic in a gentle, friendly way to a 7 year old, and the instructors helped her design her own game. She had so much fun that she's still playing with her AR projects months later. We did manage to register her for robotics camp and the advanced ar coding this year.

Our twins, a boy and a girl, did Integem's AI Drone and Space Tech camp this summer, each working on their own drone from start to finish. What made us happy? They didn't turn it into a competition. He really got into building his drone—figuring out how all the pieces and wires fit together—while she dove into the coding side, teaching her drone to recognize objects and react to them. After a few tries and some fine-tuning, both of their drones made it through the obstacle course on their own. Total proud-parent moment when they each showed off what they'd built! But the real family obsession was the space balloon project. They launched this little space balloon carrying just a tracker, solar panel and some sensors and then we all spent the weeks after that glued to the map watching where it traveled. It went on this wild ride: down to Mexico, up to Canada,back to midwest, then mexico again, then across to Florida before the signal cut out. Every night, we'd huddle around like, ""Where'd it go today?!"" and predict ""where will it go tomorrow?"" The kids started looking up these random small towns it passed over and got curious about places they'd never heard of. Geography suddenly felt like a real adventure.The program nailed that tricky balance: kept things fun but also made the kids take their work seriously. Now both twins are already asking when they can sign up again. For us? Seeing them each tackle their own project with focus and then geek out together was the best part.
