Ela Soccer Club runs four-day themed summer soccer camps at Countryside East in Lake Zurich for players U7–U14, each Monday–Thursday from 8:30am to noon at $220. Camp weeks rotate between Total Skills & Mini World Cup, Attacking/Defending, Master All Footskills and a Goalscorer shooting and finishing camp, all led by the club's professional coaching staff, and run from mid-June through early August. The club also offers a summer 5v5 evening league for travel and recreational players, a U4–U6 Junior Academy class, goalkeeper camps run by Drive Goalkeeping, and an invite-only Competitive Edge camp for its own competitive players.

★★★Marketing SofiThe main issue with the club is that they simply don’t have enough players. Many games are played with no substitutes at all. When top players or concerned parents transfer to other clubs, Ella disbands the existing teams, forcing the remaining children to either switch to a different team (often in the wrong age group), or leave the club altogether. Coaches can be hit or miss, we got the best ones and the worst ones. Main coach Jose (aka, the boss), never replies to any messages.
★A LThis is by far the worse run soccer program in the suburbs. Our children have played on and off with the club for years and every year we wonder why we continue to come back. Between the lack of refs, the subpar facilities, the money gouging for “new” uniforms, questionable team formation, the list goes on and on. Let our pain be your gain - avoid ela soccer.
★Steve NessHalf the time there are not enough kids for a full team at games. We even ended up playing 5 v 5 including goalies for the championship game of spring rec league. They send out so many emails it fills my inbox. They seem to care more about money then developing players.
★★Irene SThis club is decent if your main goal is simply to keep your child busy, but it’s not ideal for players with strong potential who are aiming for a more professional track — those players tend to leave sooner rather than later. As a result, the remaining teams often struggle to fill spots and lack enough substitutes. The administrative side seems somewhat disorganized, although many of the coaches are genuinely trying their best. Overall, your child’s experience will heavily depend on which coach they are assigned. Unfortunately, the head coach, José, is not very responsive to emails, which can add to the frustration.
★Regina DunningThe club director, Jose continues to provide a poor customer experience. “Here, let me take your money and then belittle you in public intentionally”. This is the experience I feel my family has been experiencing for about 2 years. Fortunately for Ela, my boys still love the sport, friends and some of the new coaching talent.
