★★Tara WatsonWe went for the state championship basketball tournament and I was very disappointed! I RARELY give bad ratings as my G- contributions show but this is deserved. I assumed with such a large event and a large town that the center would be nice or at least accommodating (Other areas seemed nice but we went strictly for basketball!) Courts were EXTREMELY small to the point it affected kids judgement while playing that are use to normal size courts, bleachers and seating was pathetic and cramped especially for an event, and the noise was a huge distraction trying to have 2 games side by side going at once. I guess this would be a nice area for kids to hang out and play but this is NOT a great set up to host tournaments nor is it a court that older basketball kids should have to adapt to. Our small town high school or either our recreational center would have been more suitable to host than this large recreational center. On top of limited pathetic seating and smaller size (taped off) courts, we were still charged $10 per person. I don't mind paying any amount to watch kids play but for that amount per person I expect normal seating and courts.

★★★★★Mary LadnerLove this place! Great for the community offers a variety of things to do and it's free. The classes offered do cost, but very little. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. My son and I always have a great time here. We love the indoor pool it's huge and clean and everyone is so nice. I am so glad that I just sparked up a conversation at a local gas station and the lady told me about Pinson Valley Recreation, and told me to come check it out cause she worked there :) I now tell everyone that is on a tight budget about it. Great place can't say enough!
★★★★★Dragon WilClean, the life guards are very nice and pleasant as well as helpful. The pool is always calm and quiet making it a relaxing environment to swim laps. It is heated and can sometimes be a little bit too warm. All in all I'm grateful to have the center available. Wish the pool hours were longer 🙂
