I went there, but I didn't see a Cowboy, Indian, Sailor, Soldier, Construction worker, or a Leather man. I didn't see Dru Hill either. So, I worked out and enjoyed the wonderful staff workers and what they do for our community instead.
Good location and normal set of gym equipment. Friendly staff. But the showers seriously need to be updated along with the water pressure and drainage - one reason why I make the trek to Waverly or Catonsville. Newer rowing machines could also be added.
What a friendly place to go to for camaraderie. Staff are super pleasant and accommodating. The building is clean (3 floors open to the public). The restrooms are usually spotless. It's a little messy on Friday nights. The fitness area is never crowded, which I'm so thankful for. The swimming pool is much smaller than Waverly and Towson, but it is suitable for our needs. Their Stay-n-Play area is small but clean. Only down side to it is that the restroom is in the hallway outside of the playroom. The staff are wonderful and caring. This Y is truly about community. They offer a food pantry for those who need it.
Too many drunk people and homeless in the hallway before entering (obvious smell of alcohol). We attended this location to take advantage of the hood chef program. We went to the first class and it was great. The second class did not happen due to management not bringing in food supplies, it also happened the following week with no call to those participating.
