My son has played for DPFC at all 3 levels of training offered by the organization. He played a couple of seasons in the rec leagues, then worked his way up through the DIT academy and is now playing on the competitive club. He's had a great experience playing for all of those teams and has really enjoyed growing with the team he's been with for the past few seasons. The staff coaches know what they are doing and you can tell that they really care about the kids improvement. They've shown respect to our players and they teach them to respect other teams. I like that our coaches have taught our boys not just to play hard but to love competing and playing without fear. I volunteered as a coach for a season when my son was in the Rec league without much knowledge about the sport. Even at that level, the organization supported new coaches with training curriculum and assisted in group trainings. Our family has enjoyed being a part of this club and we look forward to watching our son grow over then next several years.

Invest your money elsewhere! It costs $700 to enroll your kid and they can’t even hire real coaches. I have not seen one coach just the parent coach at the games. The refs are horrible! This whole organization is a mess! My sons team has been losing almost every game because there’s no coach to actually train them properly!

Our experience today was not a good one to say the least. It was 12u girls and the game was for 1st place. Both teams played their butts off but the ref literally decided the outcome. Crosby scored two goals (the ball was initially saved but landed in the goal) and he called no goal. A Deer Park player grabbed the ball out of mid air with her hand, handball was called but he gave the ball to them even though his line judge was telling him it was the other way. Then to top it off he called for a water break when we were in possession of the ball and about to shoot. We contested the game and the head guy yelled and charged at our two coaches, who are also mothers of two of our players, and said they were abusive to the ref. This guy should be removed before other teams in the area start taking Deer Park off their schedule. It's not fair to all of the girls!

Deer park soccer fields are good size. Teams are mostly coach by volunteers parents, so no actual soccer drills that help in competition games. They offer both recreational and competitive programs. The refs are mostly high school students. Other soccer leagues I have coach and assisted as a Volunteer. It’s good to see other leagues different style of coaching. I don’t get pay for any coaching. I started as a volunteer parent as well. I have coach over 60 teams since 2017. All this soccer leagues are within 10 miles in our area.
