Midas Football Academy is a Fort Bend County 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Sugar Land that uses soccer as a vehicle for youth mentorship and leadership development. Its Soccer Development Academy provides structured, year-round training for ages 5-16 focused on technical skills, discipline and resilience, alongside the Iwuri Empowerment Program for underserved teens 13-18 and the Houston Futures Mentorship Initiative for ages 16-21. Donations fund training, mentorship and scholarship support for children from underserved communities. It has served 300-plus players with 11 active mentors and nine community partners; the site lists no summer camp session.
