Albion Hurricanes FC is a Houston youth soccer club founded in 2000 that runs the Canes Summer Camp Series for boys and girls ages 4-16 of all abilities, alongside its recreational, academy and ECNL competitive programs. Camps run Monday-Friday in weeklong sessions from June through early August, split into a Fundamental Camp for ages 4-6 (9-11 a.m., coordination, balance and dribbling through games) and a Skills & Drills Camp for ages 7-16 (9 a.m.-noon, shooting, passing, first touch, defending and game situations). Both are half-day only, cost $160-$240 depending on age and indoor or outdoor venue, and include a Mini World Cup tournament each week. Sessions rotate across Spring Branch, Memorial, Cy-Fair, Katy, Sugar Land and Beaumont, with several indoor locations.

★Diana Barrera - PatelI do not recommend this soccer league. Youth sports should be about teamwork, respect, fun, and helping kids grow both physically and mentally. Unfortunately, our experience at Albion was very disappointing. There were repeated situations involving bullying between kids, and the coaches and upper management did not seem properly trained to manage these issues or follow up in a serious way. Instead of creating a supportive team environment, it often felt like concerns were ignored. It also seemed like the organization cared more about money than about the kids’ experience and development. On top of that, parking is extremely difficult and poorly organized, which adds even more stress for families. I hope the league takes these concerns seriously and improves the environment for the children.

★Lisbet MThe worst place to park when it comes to game days. Albion really has to do something with the hours of the games because the parking gets really full and can’t even park for games. They schedule the games back and forth and it gets super crowded. Either start scheduling game at different times or change the place because it’s horrible.
