We’ve been part of HTX Soccer for four years, and our experience has been incredibly positive. Over that time, we’ve seen tremendous growth in our daughter—not just in her skills on the field, but in her confidence, discipline, and love for the game. The club has provided meaningful opportunities for development, competition, and personal growth that have truly made a difference. Our daughter has been part of the Youth Academy under Coach Cat, and we cannot say enough about her impact. Her leadership is outstanding, and what sets her apart is her ability to connect with each player on an individual level. She takes the time to understand every girl, recognizing their strengths and areas for growth, and she tailors her approach to help each one succeed. Coach Cat genuinely knows what’s best for her players and consistently advocates for them, both on and off the field. It’s clear she is deeply invested in their development as athletes and as individuals. Coach Mark with the City program has made a tremendous impact on our daughter, as well. He is incredibly thorough in teaching advanced technical and tactical skills, and I’m excited to watch her continue to grow as she applies everything he has taught her. We are so grateful to be part of HTX Soccer and highly recommend the club to any family looking for a supportive, high-quality soccer environment.

I am happy to give HTX five stars, and that is entirely due to Coach Shoa at the Central campus (high school girls). He is truly one of the 'best-kept secrets' in Houston soccer. His coaching style for high school girls is superb; he strikes the perfect balance of being kind and compassionate while maintaining high expectations that motivate the players to excel. Under his leadership, my daughter’s team transformed from struggling at the bottom of the table to nearly winning the state title—falling just one game short! Beyond the tactics, Shoa’s dedication is unmatched; he even attends the girls' high school games to show his support. My daughter will be finishing her soccer career in two years, and we are staying at HTX specifically to remain with Coach Shoa. He is, quite simply, the best.

They have an amazing program, the staff really seems to care about these kiddos, and this is a moment I get to enjoy with my son. Our whole team is full of amazing parents and kids that are just having the MOST fun every event. Rec soccer is special, this league is special. I cannot tell you enough how special the kids feel. The talent is all over the place, from future stars to kids just out there to burn some energy. You won’t feel out of place.

Our daughter started at HTX in the Youth Academy program when she was 8 years old and we could not be happier!! We decided to move her from the previous club she attended due to the fact that she was not being challenged and we knew she needed to be in a more structured program. My only regret is that we did not move her sooner! Within the year and a half that she was been at HTX she has grown leaps and bounds. The Youth Academy directors (previously coach Fern and now coach Cat) are amazing and very hands on with the coaches and kids. If you have questions or concerns, they will get back to you within a timely manner and are always very communicative. My daughter absolutely loves coach Lockhart (who is hands down the best coach she has ever had) and has learned so much from him!! I can tell that as a coach he truly cares about his team's development and takes an active interest in helping them grow to get to the next level. I can't recommend this club enough. If you want your kid to progress in soccer with coaches and staff who truly care then this is the club for your kiddo!!
