Powered by GoogleThe owner is so rude. Their parking lot is small and tight for three businesses. I parked in an unmarked parking space in front of their business to go to physical therapy. All of the limited mobility spaces were occupied and I have trouble walking (thus going to the physical therapy). When I tried to leave I couldn’t get out because she runs a parent pick up line. There is no signage about a pick up line and they do not help direct traffic in this small lot. I was rudely informed by the owner that those were HER spots. There is no signage indicating that those spots belong to the Decatur Community Players. If she’s this rude with a stranger I can’t imagine how rude she is with new parents. I’m adding this to my good review of the physical therapy business so their patients have a heads up about this rude woman. Other patients told me she’s screamed at them in the parking lot for their parking and driving.
My daughter has been going to DCP every summer for camp for the past 6+ years. She loves the close-nit group and loves all of the teenage girls who help to direct and put on all of the camps. Shell and Melissa both care so much about the kids and love giving each kid a chance to do as much or as little as they feel comfortable with. I highly recommend their summer camps to everyone!!!
My daughter absolutely loves this place. The director/owner is serious about teaching theater and responsibility but also sensitive and fun. We're in three performances and counting...
Our sons have borne LOVED their time at DCP. Our eldest so Ben was inSCP from age 10 - 18 and now works with DCP. The environment has always been so welcoming and encouraging and our kids, who haven’t had the easiest time making friends, have made some of their best and closest friends at DCP.
My child has had a great experience at DCP. Her confidence has grown as she has enjoyed several sessions. An inclusive and supportive program that values each child's strengths!
