Dance Matters runs a seven-week summer dance camp for ages 3-9 and a summer intensive for ages 10-14, held at Sol Dance Center at 30-16 Steinway Street in Astoria. Campers train in ballet, hip hop, and jazz technique and also do arts and crafts, music, singing, and outdoor games, with a professional guest artist each week and a Friday performance of the week's work. Dry snacks are provided twice a day and each dancer receives a T-shirt. The studio is based in Sunnyside, Queens. Daily hours are not stated.
