Dance Kaleidoscope is a non-competitive dance studio in Greenwood Village that runs week-long summer dance camps through June and July, plus a two-week summer intensive for ages 8-18 and weekly ballet and company choreography classes from June through August. Six-week class blocks are also offered for ages 2.5-4, 5-7 and 8-11. The summer intensive and weekly classes are open-enrollment to any dancer based on technique and age, not only to company members, though company members are required to take at least one intensive week. Powered by GoogleI danced here as a child and now my daughters dance in here! It has been owned, operated, and choreographed by the same family since it started 40 years ago. This is non-competitive dance. It is dance for those who just want their kids to enjoy movement and learn dance terms. And just have a good time!
We have been at this dance studio for 3-4 years. We left a much more high pressure competitive studio and couldn't be happier with our decision. Our daughter LOVES Jersey, Sydney, Brooke and all the other wonderful teachers. They are kind, and so sweet to the little ones. Her dance is thriving and she looks forward to every class and camp! They only move the kids up when they are really ready which is great!
My children have both been doing dance at Dance Kaleidoscope for a number of years and absolutely love it! They do an amazing job, fostering a love of dance and building a no pressure environment for young children to thrive!
Thanks /s. Finally got my daughter to try dance again after being burned by toxic dance culture at other studios and what was supposed to be a simple low pressure evaluation to find the right level class turned into a public shaming at the competition team tryout. Thanks for the bait and switch. Now she’s upstairs crying good luck getting her back into any kind of fitness activity. And they wonder why teens stop playing sports.
Our daughter has been with Dance K for the past 3 years (since age 3) and we cannot say enough good things! The environment, especially for young dancers, is incredibly welcoming and fun. There is a heart at this studio that comes from being run by such an incredible family. We are grateful we found Dance K and look forward to more years here!
