My daughter has been involved with CYT for years doing camps, classes and shows. She is excited this summer to also add being a counselor in the day camps. Out of all theater companies I have been involved in, CYT Atlanta is definitely the best out there! Staff is knowledgeable, uplifting, and encourages growth and training in their students. Parents are selfless and eager to give up their time to lend a hand, creating a tight knit community of volunteers from all areas of theater expertise. Most importantly, the students love each other so incredibly well, and are truly one big happy family. They lift each other up and walk with one another through all sorts ups and downs, and students know they always have a safe space here. CYT welcomed me with kindness, believed in my talents, and encouraged me to grow as an educator and as an individual. This is true for everyone who walks through the doors at CYT! They are family!
