Powered by GoogleMy son has explored various camps, from digital camps and coding to everything in between. However, I believe he thrived the most at Cub Camp. It helped him build confidence and learn skills that he was too nervous to try before. I signed him up for swimming lessons, but he never took to it. However, a week at Cub Camp, he learned the basic skills and now loves being in the water. Every day when he gets home, he would give us the play-by-play of the activists and talks about them. I highly recommend every family to send the kiddos..
We have been loyal Cub Campers for 4 years now. My daughter looks forward to going every summer, winter and in between. We adore the staff who have basically become family at this point. The camp provides plenty of activities and is always abundant with lots of pals we know and love. If you are looking for a fun-filled day camp that never disappoints, sign up for Cub Camp!
My kids absolutely love cub camps, everyday they have so much to tell me when I pick them up. The staff there is so committed and it’s so great to see how organized the sports are ran. Jay meets the kids at their level with different drills and also keeping it competitive and fun
Cub Camps is more than a daycare center, it is a community of kids for kids. My son's have all attended the summer sessions and have now grown to become JCs (junior counselors). They have learned discipline, respect and responsibility all while having fun. Thanks to all the wonderful staff the kids are safe and are always engaged and entertained. Shout out to Daniel and Jay, all the counselors, and junior counselors for keeping it together. I highly recommend Cub Camps, part of Monarch Camps. #cubcamps
Edited to 1 star from 2 stars due to the business’ response. The refund was not an act of good will but a demand for LOSING MY CHILD AT THE BEACH. The program is decent. Daily swimming, arts and crafts, they had a performance that was adorable... I could go on about how they kept my kid busy on campus. The reason for the two stars? THEY LOST MY KID AT THE BEACH.They actually didn't even know that she was missing. I found out that they also lost another child that same day. The camp directors did not inform me at pick-up that my child was lost. I found out at the dinner table when my kiddo said it was scary experience. I spoke with the directors the very next day and was met with a lack of interest and empathy from Director, Jay. He rolled his eyes and made it seem like my husband I were over reacting for wanting to chat through the experience. My suggestion... if you are going to use this camp, just don't send your kids on the field trips and ask about the training for junior counselors. We also experienced a junior counselor making inappropriate comments about women's bodies. I never received a call or an email from the head of the camp to discuss the situation.
