Powered by GoogleTook an art class for adults here! Delightful staff, welcoming classmates. Just a very cozy unpretentious space where you can really let loose and reconnect with art as a grown-up rediscovering hobbies!
We’ve only used their programming for kids but we’ve sent one or both of ours to Day Off and summer camp stuff for many years with great success. The kids love doing the projects and (for us) it’s close by. The biggest downside is that there’s no outdoor break for the kids, so they’re indoors all day. Staff has been great and helpful.
I just took the Dutch Pour class and it was phenomenal! I was in the class with my 8-year old daughter. We were both able to create two individual pieces and then we got to collaborate on a big canvas. The teacher was so excited about this type of art that it made the whole class enjoy it even more. Her feedback and critiques made us really confident that we could pull off a masterpiece and I think we did! My daughter got upset when she found out that this class isn’t something we take every weekend. That’s how much we loved it. The class was affordable and perfect for adults or kids. Best art studio I’ve come across in the Silver Spring area.
They have an adult art therapy group and the leaders of the group are SUPER nice! I got a volunteering opportunity with them and am feeling so blessed! They also have art classes for kids! Great staff! Non-profit. Can't wait to get to know them better and learn form my volunteer experiences!
I took an adult class here after years of sending my kids to their camps. I loved it! The instructor was friendly and gave just enough instruction to guide us. I had no painting experience, which concerned me. But no one made me feel less capable than the other, more experienced students. I'm looking forward to more classes!
