My family and I have had a great experience with Coppermine. My sister played here for several seasons, and we always appreciated how professional and organized the program was. Yassine Iguirdre was amazing to work with — he went above and beyond from a director’s standpoint, making sure players and families felt supported every step of the way. You can really tell he cares about the athletes’ growth and the overall team experience. Couldn’t recommend Coppermine and Yassine more!

Some of the best coaches around the tri-state area, if not the country. This club competes at the highest level instilling proper technique, and tactics from an early age. If you take soccer seriously this club will give you the best opportunity to play at the next level beyond adolescence

The parents at this club are horrible. My son has played this club multiple times over the past several years, and the experience is always the same. They yell at and mock children on the opposing team, at one point during my child’s game yesterday yelling “it’s time to get mean, coppermine!” The coach even had to tell the parents to stop. It’s youth sports parent culture at its worst. If you want your child to be a decent soccer player and win games but don’t care at all about exposing them to horrendous adult behavior or the quality of their character, this club is for you.

Coach Yass is top-tier. His passion for the game, ability to motivate players, and deep understanding of soccer strategy make him stand out. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to level up, Yass creates an environment that’s competitive, supportive, and fun. My experience with him has been nothing but positive—highly recommend him to any player or parent looking for real development.
