Very nice place. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staying at CONNRI Retreat Lodge for Adults. Youth Camp is on another area of the property. 2nd year here, and I look forward to returning every year.

We dropped off our 8 yo Gkid for a week long camping experience at CCYC. The young staff looked like they had everything under control despite the large group of kids coming in for the first day sign in and lice inspection. The only thing I would do differently for day one check-in is have a senior staff member with a bull horn or equivalent give the kids (and guardians for that matter) instructions on where to go and how to advance the line. At least have signs identifying the four different stations. We also had to monitor the line ourselves as we witnessed the older returning kids cut in front of the little kids who had no clue what was going on. If it wasn’t for us being there, our Gkid would have had a hard time navigating the station to station chaos by herself as they didn’t have her information on any of their lists. She’s been there for three days now so she must be having a great time. The property and camp buildings looks well kept.
