Colorado Youth Bands, formerly the Colorado Honor Band Association, is a Denver nonprofit that has trained students on band instruments for over 70 years through ensembles ranging from Beginning Band to Symphony Winds. Its yearly five-day summer band camp is held at Colorado State University Pueblo for students ages 10 to 18, and the organization's year-round after-school band classes serve ages 9 to 18.

Powered by GoogleBand is life. Playing with other students who want to play their instrument and be instructed by top notch instructors adds value to life.
The highest level of instrumental education you can give your kids in the state of Colorado. If you and your kids want to play at a high level with peers who take music seriously, Colorado Youth Bands is the group for you. A great group with kind and meaningful experiences including summer band camp to deepen music theory and skills.
The best option for your money! For less than weekly lesson my son has small group instruction from an expert on his instrument, and a full ensemble experience. He played in all levels and enjoyed some of the best band directors around. Hands down CYB puts students first, in creating a life long love of music and a sustaining community. We have been with CYB for 7 years and will continue till he ages out.
Great music instruction! My son has a lot of fun playing with Colorado Youth Bands. The instructors are wonderful. Amazing experience!
This gem of Denver has been bringing the joy of music to youth for decades. My first teacher was affiliated with CHBA back in the ‘90s. Now my kid is loving his time with the intermediate band. Great instructors, great directors, great memories!
