Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, has moved Mountains for my daughter and I. Her attitude at home has changed she has become more helpful less combative towards me and this has given US the opportunity BOND TOGETHER. The coaching staff has been awesome. My daughter went from never playing to this season ( our 2d Season with the Rapids youth Club ) she is a very STRONG PLAYER & Teammate. She loves going to practices and she is seeing her IMPROVEMENT & is beginning to push her limits which is only making that much more of an STRONG PLAYER. I’m VERY HAPPY that I was able to introduce her to team sports & Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club has given this to me. I truly RECOMMEND COLORADO RAPIDS YOUTH SOCCER CLUB, to all parents children & families!

My family and I love this soccer organization and recommend it to others. This soccer club is very organized and has helped my son gain skills and confidence in soccer. We have signed up for recreational soccer from U6-U8 and with every season we sign up for my son has been gaining more confidence in the game. I love that the seasons are long enough so that the kids can make friends with other kids and bond with their coach. My partner has been coaching for 2 seasons and although there can be hard days he still enjoys it! We especially love Clint he has great personality, great with the kids and a great instructor overall. I highly recommend this soccer club and I think its worth the money 🙂

I truly hope this review can give pause to others who are thinking about joining Rapids so everyone knows what they are signing up for with eyes wide open. I pray no one else has this experience. Children should be able to rely on their coach as an advocate. FYI: this situation has happened to another captain who also left. Lawyer, bullying, lack of adult accountability, shirking of coaching duties, no regard for mental wellbeing and ignoring anti bullying club policy are my reasons for this review. An abundant amount of evidence has been compiled. My daughter has been playing for Rapids for over 7 years. The past 6 years there were many coach changes that was based off of parents opinions instead of soccer fundamentals. This current soccer season has been utterly disappointing. Being in competitive soccer as a 12 year old girl you expect to be on a team with other individuals that have played competitive. However, this particular year the team was filled with 90 percent recreation soccer which meant that the experienced competitive players had to play down which negates the reason for being on a competitive team. Unfortunately this was not the worst issue. Beginning in the Summer I started to notice bullying on the field within the team. I stayed out of it in hopes that the Coach would step in and do his job or the girls solve it themselves. Fast forward to December, my daughter is team captain and is going home crying every night from the belligerent actions from numerous girls on the team and complete disregard from the Coach. January, my family had brought said issues of bullying to the Coach, the Coach said if we have a problem then the parents need to talk to the other family BUT it clearly says in Rapids anti bullying policy that the COACH should be intervening. This never happened besides the Coach having a very neutral feelings group chat with the team. In fact we had to go above the Coaches head twice and yet to our dismay no one seemed to care even though we had written evidence and other parents as witnesses. The Rapids entity didn’t think it was worth their time. Only after we informed Rapids that we had an attorney involved did they seem to take pause. Another team captain left for the same reason. Coincidence? I don’t think so. My daughter has been through the ringer just so she could play a sport she loves. Thankfully my daughter realizes that not every club is run as such. She will carry on learning a hard lesson at too young of an age that adults that should have been an advocate, she couldn’t depend on.

Everything has been great at rapids. The coaches have mainly helped with this especially my coach cause they make you feel involved a ton. But not just that, you can also create really good relations with your teammates making your team have a very strong bond with one another, and you can still have a good time while playing.

My son really enjoyed his first season with the rapids. It was to his advantage that his 7v7 team typically had 9 kids show up. It gave him more play time which was great because he was not a strong player week one. His coach was exceptionally patient with all the players, and he did such a great job even though he had no help.
