Code Ninjas is a national coding-center franchise whose summer camps teach kids ages 5 to 14 to program through game-building themes such as Roblox, Minecraft, YouTube and LEGO Spike Prime robotics engineering. Camps run Monday through Friday as half-day sessions, either 9:00 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and families can book both blocks back to back for a full day; weekly tuition is about $250 for a single half-day camp, or $225 per block when both are taken. Year-round, kids progress through a belt system from white belt to black belt, building their own video games in Scratch, JavaScript and Python. This center is at 4900 Irvine Boulevard, Suite 106, in north Irvine, at the corner of Irvine Boulevard and Yale Avenue.

Jamal worked tirelessly to get paperwork done for a third-party program paying for the membership. He was patient, followed up with me consistently and couldn’t have been nicer or more professional.

My son is absolutely obsessed with Code Ninja. He looks forward to class each week and comes home eager to show his dad what he has coded and learned. The curriculum that they use to teach these young kids is phenomenal. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Code Ninja.

My son who is 8 years old has been learning coding with CodeNinja since last year. My son really enjoys the 2 hour session especially the 1 hour playtime. My son’s coding skills are also improving each week. It is a fun learning environment for my son at CodeNinja.

My daughter, who is almost 8, has been attending Code Ninjas for a few months now, and we absolutely love it! The staff is incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They’ve created a fun and safe environment where kids can learn coding at their own pace while building real skills. My daughter is always excited to go, and I’ve noticed how much more confident and curious she’s become when it comes to technology. Highly recommend for any parent looking to give their child a head start in a creative and supportive setting!

Code Ninjas is so awesome! The people there are super nice and make coding really fun. I learned so much, and I liked how they helped us make cool projects step by step. The space is really cool too—it feels like a fun place to hang out and work on coding stuff. Even if you're new to coding, they make it easy to understand. If you’re into coding or want to learn how to make games, you should definitely check it out. I loved it and can’t wait to go back!
