Code Ninjas is a national coding-center franchise whose summer camps teach kids ages 5 to 14 to program through game-building themes such as Roblox, Minecraft, YouTube and LEGO Spike Prime robotics engineering. Camps run Monday through Friday as half-day sessions, either 9:00 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and families can book both blocks back to back for a full day; weekly tuition is about $250 for a single half-day camp, or $225 per block when both are taken. Year-round, kids progress through a belt system from white belt to black belt, building their own video games in Scratch, JavaScript and Python. This center is at 9060 Tampa Avenue in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Powered by GoogleMy son absolutely loves Code Ninja! The program challenges him in a really positive way and keeps him excited to learn. Even when something is difficult, he feels comfortable asking the staff for help, which has helped him build confidence while learning to code. He loves the program they use so much that he even logs on at home to keep working on it and make his own games. All of the workers are incredibly kind and supportive. They always make both of us feel welcome and comfortable whenever we’re there. It’s been such a great experience watching my son learn new skills in such a fun and encouraging environment.
My son has been attending for over a year and absolutely loves it. He looks forward to every session with the same excitement he had when he first started. The program is excellent and thoughtfully designed to support each child based on their individual needs. The team is outstanding, from management to instructors. They are extremely supportive, appropriately firm when needed, and genuinely committed to helping each child grow and reach their full potential. I also appreciate the additional events they offer, such as Parent Night Out, game nights, and other unique experiences. They even bring in professionals who inspire the children and provide insight into different careers and industries. Their partnerships with other businesses are another great benefit. These collaborations are clearly designed with parents in mind and truly help make life easier. I highly recommend Code Ninjas to any family looking for a positive and engaging program for their child.
I take my eight-year-old son, who has ADHD and is on the spectrum, to Co Ninja Northridge, and it has been an incredible experience for him. He’s learned how to type and even do some low-level coding, which is amazing progress—but he’s learned so much more than just tech skills. The entire team is incredibly kind, and the owners truly care about the kids. Kevin, one of the sensei at Co Ninja Northridge, is especially fantastic—patient, supportive, and great at connecting with my son. My son has been attending for about eight months now, and I’ve seen so much growth in his confidence, focus, and abilities. I’m genuinely grateful that I registered him. Thank you, Co Ninja Northridge!
Code Ninjas has been great for our son. He learns a lot and I can tell he leaves with a sense of accomplishment and is proud to show me what he has worked on. The sensei's are great with the kids, there to help when they need it and steer them in the right direction. Vishal and Ashima are also super friendly, understanding, and flexible which I really appreciate.
We had our son’s 7th birthday at Code Ninjas this past weekend and it was a huge hit! Vishal and Ashima took great care in hosting the event and went above and beyond our expectations. We had never been so they invited both of our kids for a free trial and to see the space. The kids loved it and we quickly booked. Vishal and Ashima were great at communicating during the planning stage and the whole staff was such a great help on the day of. They helped decorate, were attentive to the kids, served food/cake, and cleanup! The kids got to play some Minecraft, learn some things, do trivia games, and a hands on robotics type activity all in theme. The parents even got to play some games while the kids ate making it fun for everyone. It truly was a great party and something different than the usual play spaces we go to. I highly recommend and we will be signing up for some of their classes soon.
