May 2023 Update: we come 2x a week and love our coaches. We love Jillian, Heather, Meagan, Laura, Parker, and AJ. Each one of them help her stay focused, aren't afraid to push her more (in reason of course) and help with any basic task ( fixing hair tie, opening water, putting socks on, etc). Feb 2023: We took advantage of the trail and my daughter loves it! Their hesty military discount has helped us decide to have her in 2x a week. She enjoys alot of the teachers and they are more hands-on, have more resources than the YMCA. that being said, we do both of their gymnastics programs for different reasons.
My daughter started at Champion gymnastics in January on their competitive team. We absolutely love it here. We came from a gym that we were at for four years but decided to look for a more competitive facility. We did trials at every gym in the area. Champion Gymnastics is the perfect fit. They have amazing role models as coaches that teach kids to work hard and do better without ever putting them down. My daughter begs to go to gym because of the amazing environment. We are so happy here and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to put their kids in gymnastics!!
My children have been taking classes at Champion Gymnastics and Cheer for almost a year and absolutely LOVE it! All of their coaches have been wonderful. I have been especially impressed with everything they have done to reopen after Covid closures. They have gone way above and beyond what is required of them to keep everyone safe with appropriate distancing, sanitation measures, and even new equipment! My kids are so happy that they can attend classes in person-it is definitely the highlight of their week!
I love the staff here. My daughter also loves taking gymnastics classes here. We took her to a free trial class between that class and her watching some of the older athletes, that's all it took. The desk staff is wonderful and the coaches, they are great. Very low coach to student ratio and very hands on. I always see the coaches show the children what to do, by example. I have noticed that if a coach asks someone to do something, it's something they can do also. There is something about this facility that my daughter really likes, she didn't know anyone here, over other facilities that her friends go to. My little girl totally adores Coach Lena and Coach Kelsey (I think I totally misspelled that), she actually looks forward to coming to practice/class and looks up to them. This facility has recreational and competitive levels with no pressure to go the competitive route but all levels of both. Also, last but not least, the prices are great. CGC has all that I look for in a training facility starting with a dedicated staff and proper equipment.
