Pretty good. For younger ages the twice a week on separate days is too much (1 hour practice on one weekday and 1 hour game on the weekend). My kids had games 2.5 hours apart on Saturday so there is a huge time commitment. Once a week would be fine. I would like to stick with it, but we did feel burned out after a few weeks when we just wanted to expose them to soccer. It was also weird that they only play 3v3 even when they have more kids on each side. While it is well organized, something about it kind of sucks the fun out of soccer.

Our grandsons play soccer for CCU. They live for soccer. The club is very well managed. Coaches are very knowledgeable and the kids learn a lot. They are making life long memories and many great family friends. CCU is highly supported by the local business community. Pictured are a few.

We have been a "CCU family" for about 5 years. Currently, we have one son played for the development team, and the other in the rec program. Overall, as parents, it's been fun to learn about a new (to us) sport, and watch our children enjoy it. Our oldest, who currently plays competitive, has had a stellar experience with the entire program, but his experience on the competitive side has exceeded our expectations. His coach has truly 'made' it the positive experience it has been! I appreciate that his coach sees the potentials in his players and expects a high level of play, but is incredibly encouraging and keeps it fun! He's invested in the team, but both on and off the field. His passion for the sport is evident. He challenges and encourages the boys to do their best - wonderful attributes for a coach of any age, but especially youth! The rec program is also a great opportunity for kids to experience soccer! At times, it can feel disorganized but I believe they see this as an opportunity for growth and are working on this. As a 'repeat' parent, you become familiar with 'things' and that helps as I know it can be a challenge to navigate initially. Parent coach shortages do create a stress that is felt by all. It's really about getting the kids out on the field and if I keep that in mind - it's a good fit! Our children have made friendships that they maintain off the field, and outside of the soccer season. Many of the families are now 'family friends' and we feel thankful for the connections we've all gained because of soccer. Overall, CC United is a strong club and a great organization to have in our community. We certainly feel like we 'hit the jackpot' with our competitive team coach--and the families-- we wouldn't change a thing! We will continue to utilize the rec program and recognize there may be snafus, but that's just life at times. We are thankful for CC United!

I have kids in both the competitive and rec/dev teams. IMO having an excellent experience with the competitive side with great coaches and teammates. My son made friends and likes that everyone is trying hard to win but also having fun - and the parents all get along and enjoy the games together, so that makes it special as well. Rec/dev teams can be hit or miss and I think someone's experience can vary widely from another. Have had good experiences and not great experiences. Can somewhat be dependent upon who the coach is. I would give this club closer to 5 stars vs 4 if we could get rec/dev teams overall experience, support, and structure a little closer to the same organization, support and structure on the competitive team side. Still, good people involved who care about the kids and want them to enjoy soccer and develop both as a soccer player and as a human being.

Our son has been a part of CC United for the last 5 years in recreational and competitive soccer. He has had a great experience playing on the top U10 team. We have had such positive experience and the coaching has exceeded all of our expectations. The communication between our manger and the team is stellar. And not only is there a ton of support for the players but the parents as well. They truly care about the players individually and as a team. We absolutely love the program, coaches and everyone in the organization. CC United has truly been a blessing for our family and has helped our son improve his soccer skills exponentially. It has been a great experience!
