Cascade Elite Gymnastics runs themed half-day summer camps for boys and girls ages 5 to 12 at its 20,000 sq ft Mountlake Terrace gym. Camps are four hours long and mix gymnastics activities with group games, suited to first-timers and to kids building on skills they already have; weekly themes include Animal Action, Space Exploration, Summer Olympics, Under The Sea and Fantasy World, running late June through August at $100 per day. Kids get a snack and a lunch break, and families bring nut-free food from home. Online pre-registration is required, and the gym has run gymnastics programs since 1989.

I highly recommend the downstairs room for Tween-age groups as it is "more classy" according to my grandson. Having the party on Sunday meant that no one else was in the building so there was no noise, no chalk dust in the air, and the boys were not self-conscious about trying the unfamiliar equipment. A very successful party!
★★★B WI've heard good things about this place. So far, my 4 year old son has attended a free introductory class. He enjoyed it very much. There is an upstairs balcony area where parents can watch their children in classes. This is nice. I couldn't watch however, because my 2 year old was throwing a fit because he wanted to participate. I wish they had a small play room for the babies/toddlers who are waiting for their siblings.
