Our son has been with Canes Illinois Naperville for the past two years and is currently playing at the 14U level. The coaching, mentorship, player development, and competitive environment have helped him grow tremendously not only as a baseball player, but as a young man. Canes Illinois has created a true family atmosphere where players are supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. The organization provides outstanding year-round development opportunities, including excellent offseason training programs, access to dedicated facilities including a pitching lab, and unique experiences like Spring Training in Arizona. We especially appreciate their focus on baseball specific strength and conditioning, as well as their commitment to pitcher arm care and long-term player health. We highly recommend Canes Illinois to families looking for a competitive youth baseball program that develops both athletes and character.

Our son has been in other travel baseball programs and I have plenty of friends who have sons in other travel baseball programs, which means you hear all sorts of good and not-so-good. What Canes Illinois has accomplished and where they create value is something that sets Canes Illinois apart from many other organizations I am aware of. It may seem simple, but not done enough in my humble opinion, and has a few facets. First, as parents we foot a significant bill for the travel season and all most of us ask for in return is good communication from the organization around scheduling - practices, tournaments and what’s coming up. However, I will also say they do communicate to parents how they set their teams and their rationale behind it, setting expectations well. Canes Illinois does an excellent job of proactive communication, which I appreciate as it removes guesswork. Second, I have been impressed with the strength training regimen and corresponding equipment at their facility, the addition of mental health, the mental side of the game and their focus on arm care/arm safety, particularly for their pitchers. Third, they have a knowledgeable and passionate staff that truly cares for the players and their development, which brings all of the above together. There is more I could say, but if you want what I mention above in a travel baseball organization, you should consider Canes Illinois. Thank you, Canes Illinois.

The emphasis is on preparing the players for life beyond baseball. Canes Baseball Illinois is a wonderful program. With any newer program, there are many questions when evaluating/comparing it to more well-established programs. After witnessing several arm injuries due to overuse on prior teams, we were drawn to Canes due to their arm care approach and philosophy. My son loved the off-season training. As the season started, and through the entirety of it, we realized it wasn't all talk -- the leadership at Canes Baseball Illinois walks the talk. They care about developing their players, both on and off the field. The coaches are wonderful, investing their time and energy into each of the boys. We are proud to be a part of this baseball family.
