Camp Skymeadow is a Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania camp on 371 forested acres near Avonmore (Armstrong County), about an hour from Pittsburgh, and serves as the council's horseback-riding program headquarters. It offers overnight sessions from a few nights up to 12 nights plus mini day camps, with multi-level horse programs, swimming, canoeing, fishing, archery, and backpacking for girls, along with family camp sessions.

I am attending the "Wrangler In Training I" camp this year and then next year is my last horse camp until I become an official barn staff :D So excited! (Edit: It was such a fun week! I’m so glad I got to teach the younger girls how to ride horses and BE TEACHED to do more chores around the barn! Sadly on the last day I broke my leg on the hill behind the pool house and had to leave camp early, but I’m all healed and hoping to be back at camp in the next two years!) :)
