I will never stop singing the praises of Camp Guyasuta! I LOVE this place! Here's our story: My son has a medical condition in which his head is larger than normal. He was going to attend Camp Guyasuta on a field trip, and I knew that there wouldn't be a helmet there that fit him, and he wouldn't therefore be able to do a lot of the activities as a result. I reached out to the camp about this predicament, and they were ON IT! They researched a helmet that would fit him, contacted me to make sure I agreed, special ordered it months ahead of time, and invited us to camp so that he could try it on (and assured us that they would buy another one if that one didn't work). It was all such a smooth and painless process. The helmet fit him, and they had it on hand for his field trip. In the end, he was able to do everything else that his classmates did with no issues whatsoever! It warmed my mom heart tremendously! Then, we returned for the Haunted Guyasuta event. This was SO MUCH FUN and SO well organized. We loved the hayride, the giant pumpkin, the snacks, the haunted trail-- everything. AND, one of the workers (Keith-- my hero!) recognized my son and even remembered his name from his field trip THE PREVIOUS YEAR. He fetched my son's special helmet (which they, once again, just had waiting for him!), and then gently coaxed him through the part of the challenge course that was hard for him. I mean-- can anyone ask for more of a camp than that?!?! We will DEFINITELY be back! I've NEVER been somewhere that had such a great facility, such supportive staff, AND such and accommodating approach to inclusion! I LOVE Camp Guyasuta! :)

I am never going there again I had a miserable elderly man he shoved me into the ground. me and my friend were on the zip line and the gentleman helping us was really rude the zip line was really fun but the 3 younger kids helping us were super nice and helped us the entire time. Not gonna go back to there for a while.

A very nice trail with a lot of information about the area is posted. The waterfall at the very end of the trail was very nice. I did go after it rained.

Camp Guyasuta was very earthy! Plenty of nature all around. The camp area is clean with adequate signage to guide you around. Staff members were friendly. Not much parking inside the camp itself. I enjoyed viewing the horses and viewing the large pumpkin. My child really enjoyed zip lining through the woods. The camp fire was burning bright and kept my family farm on a chilly. This camp is definitely a hidden gem back behind Sharpsburg. It is a safe and fun place to explore.
