Skylemar is truly one of the most special places on Earth. The people that gather on its beautiful landscape are some of the kindest and most genuine humans this planet has to offer. I recently got married and 5 of my groomsmen I am proud to say I met at Camp Skylemar. Those are the kinds of real connections that take place here. I have also experienced Skylemar as a wedding venue and the staff is incredibly accommodating and kind. They will go above and beyond to make your experience and your guest's experience here one of a kind.

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful place both during camp sessions and over multiple wedding weekends, and it never disappoints. The views are stunning, the activities are endless, and the staff truly go above and beyond. The cherry on top is Trickey Pondit , perfectly completes the experience. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion!

Have you ever been to a place where competition and kindness meet so perfectly in the middle? I have. It's Camp Skylemar. As a former camper and counselor, I can confidently say that this place truly made me the man I am today. It's amazing how the greatest people all meet in Maine and have summers that form lasting memories. Whether it's a hot summer day, or a cozy campfire night, everyone is always having fun. You really feel safe here, thanks to the staff and beautiful landscape. You can shine on stage, create amazing art, or zip-line through the trees. Every sport is spirited. Every activity is engaging. Most importantly, every person is warm-hearted and ready to have the summer of a lifetime!

When I went here, I was bullied unmercifully. I told my counselors, I told the Camp directors Shep and Arlene and they did nothing about it. It was a very toxic and competitive environment, where if you weren’t obsessed with sports you didn’t fit in. Eventually I found success at another camp. Where I had the best summers of my life, This Camp taught me one thing. That no one is going to help you and you have to stand up for yourself. Hopefully this place has changed, but I doubt it.

1999 my high-school football team (Brewer High) held a summer camp here, and it was the best time of my life! I still talk about it to this day, and I remember there being a hill we used to have to run that was absolutely BRUTAL!! Best preseason ever
