Powered by GoogleBack in the almost mid 2010s at the ages from 8-10 years old, me and my step siblings would go to this summer camp. This camp has this best experience to me which was a whole week we went to. It was amazing that we had so much fun with different activities such as biking, boating, swimming, arts and crafts, and all that stuff even with tetherball. I really love this camp so much that it gives me the good experience to make new friends to help each other. We even sing camp songs like other camps normally would. If I should rate this camp in my opinion, I would give it a 5 out of 5 because it gave me and my siblings the experience of having a lot of fun and make new friends growing up together.
I went there as a kid and met some friends that I still have to this day, 22 years later. Now our kids go there together year after year. Our oldest kids are aging out as campers this year but look forward to coming back as CITs. Thank you Camp Putnam for keeping traditional camp life alive for generations and giving our kids something to look forward to each summer.
My kids have all gone here and loved it. I know the owners amazing kind wonderful people. If you want your kid to have a real life "old school" camp experience at a price any family can afford (they offer financial help to anyone in need as they believe all kids deserve to experience their camp regardless of the ability to pay and their prices for us who do pay are VERY VERY reasonable given what the kids get to experience) there's a bus that goes into Worcester to give the kids out that way the ability to attend without their parents having to find a way to get them the hour plus drive that goes directly to the camp and then drops them back off in the city when camps over. It's beautiful there and we'll maintained. There is nothing bad I can say about this place or the employees or the owners only good things.
This camp was the HIGHLIGHT of my Childhood for YEARS and YEARS! I had created friendships here that I still have today 20 years later. The memories I created here will last forever! The staff has always been amazing and I was a camper here from about age 7-16 . This is the nature camp of your dreams and your children will absolutely LOVE it here!!!!! There is no nature camp like it! It’s one of a kind! I would give more than anything to go back in time, and be a kid again for just one more week, to go here one more time ... 😒 💕
I always came here when I was a little girl and I loved every second of it. The staff/ counselors are always happy and helping to answer any of your questions. The food here is great as well always filling and plus the kids always ask for more. There is always cold drinks out for the kids on those hot summer days. And plus the kids do alot throughout the day they can swim, arts and crafts, boating, biking, and hiking if I remember all of it when I was little. And plus they sing all of the camp songs. I love it here. Send your kids to thus lovely camp and it so affordable it works with your budget. And thank you Camp Putnam for making my childhood a great one!!!
