Such a gorgeous place! I love that the Almost Heaven Swing was added to get even more people to visit. This spot has a little park, walking trail, bathrooms, and parking.
This was a very nice campsite. Has full hookups for RV. The bathrooms/bathhouse were very clean and looked like they were just updated. We walked the scouting trail area the fishing pond and the sunset behind the mountains in the distance cast and welcoming glow. Beautiful views. The only thing would be you need a reducer for the black water hookup. We used a rock to hold the pipe in the black water hole. But no issues.
I visited the camp area just to photograph the newest of the West Virginia tourism swings. Unfortunately, the swing structure wasn't yet ready for visitors. 🙂 The camp grounds were lovely and very well kept, with a couple nice ponds! I will return.
The campsites are closer together than what I'm used to, and there's something funky going on with the gravel. Other than that, the sites are flat, they have electric water and sewer hookups. All in all, we really like it. The views of the mountains are spectacular.
