The camp was great, the activity’s were amazing, but the only thing that disappointed me was the boys camp. The cabins were small about a 12x12 square with bunks stacked on each others which slept 8 campers and 2 counselors, and the bathroom situation was worse the showers were dirty almost like they were rotting and only 3 bathroom stalls and this was only for the elementary school to middle school boys. The 8 grade+ area was a bit better but the showers ran only cold water but the cabins were bigger but slept more people so think of a 12 x 24 but with 12-14 people inside.

My son, Chris, had an incredible experience at Camp Hidden Meadows! This was his very first time at a sleepaway camp, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made him feel welcome, safe, and excited to be there. The activities were engaging, well-organized, and offered something for everyone—from outdoor adventures to creative arts. The counselors and staff went above and beyond to create a warm, supportive environment, and Chris came home with so many new skills, friendships, and wonderful stories to share. He loved it so much that he’s already asking to attend a 3-week session next summer! I’m so grateful for the care, organization, and passion that the team puts into making Camp Hidden Meadows such a special place. It has officially become an annual summer tradition for our family.

My daughter loves Hidden Meadows. She's gone two summers in a row now and plans to return next summer. She loves all the new friends she makes, horseback riding, and tons of arts and crafts. The camp's email/letter writing system makes it easy to stay in touch without screen usage and the independence is so good for my girl's self confidence. We are so glad to have such a wonderful place to send her to spread her wings.

This was my 13-year-old son's first week-long camp away from home and it was a truly transformation experience for him! The space is everything you imagine when you picture the perfect camp in the mountains. The workshops, spaces, and events were all so well tailored for a wide range of interests - every kid will find something they love to do throughout their time at Camp Hidden Meadows. I was impressed with the team that runs this camp, with the counselors, and with their ability to create a space for kids to bond and thrive. My son made so many friends in his short time at camp (he was here for only a week) and he said he cannot wait to come back next year. I can't recommend Camp Hidden Meadows enough -- your children will love it here!

Even the camp offers transportation service from Cooper Middle School in Mclean Virginia we always like to drive our kid to the camp and pick up him from the camp. Looks like the camp continuously adding new structures to improve camp activities. The staffs are nice and facilities are clean. No cell phone or other electronics allowed so kids can focus on nature and activities. Real people face to face interactions. My kid and his friend are repeated campers here. I wish the camp store carry some swimming clothings cause I forgot to pack swim truck for my kid. 🤣 a lot of kids complained the food at the camp. I hope the camp improve the food quality and we will send kids there again.
