They are now doing overnight backpacking trips, and they come home with so much glow, knowledge and independence. They are always looking forward to their next trip! Not only are the locations and activities amazing, the staff is stellar! They are so creative, kind, loving and fun. They truly know how to see through the eyes of the campers while providing enough challenge for excitement and growth for everyone. Kudos to APEX. We can’t imagine a world without you!

Our daughter (7yo) is about to start her third year in APEX's Wild Day Camp and it is the only camp that she actively looks forward to all year long. Living in DC, APEX has proven to be a great place for her to get outside, get dirty, learn about nature, and grow as an individual. Libbey and her team strike the perfect balance of being welcoming and nurturing, while also letting the kids start to push their boundaries and explore new experiences. In addition to my daughter loving it, I brought a group of my college friends to WV last year... all of the kids went to APEX camp, which allowed us adults to spend the week mountain biking and hiking. The kids loved it, we loved it... truly a win-win. I could keep going, but we also love APEX because our daughter now has a crew of kids that she seeks out every time we are adventuring out in Canaan Valley. I can't say enough good things about this program!
