Camp Galileo Evanston runs weekly STEAM day camps for rising kindergarteners through rising 8th graders. Rising K-5th graders rotate through three destinations each day - an Innovator's Studio for individual STEAM projects, an Idea Lab for collaborative design challenges and Outdoor Adventure for team games - while rising 6th-8th graders spend the week on one in-depth project. Camp runs 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, with optional extended care 8-9am and 3-6pm, where campers do outdoor time, lanyards and crafts. Campers are grouped by rising grade: Nebulas (K-1st), Stars (2nd-3rd), Supernovas (4th-5th) and Meteors (6th-8th).
