Camp ANV (Acta Non Verba) is a nonprofit urban-farm summer day camp in East Oakland for children ages 5-11, running about six weeks of nature-based programming. Campers farm, cook farm-to-table meals, and take part in art, science, literacy, fitness, archery, swimming, and weekly field trips, with a distinctive financial-literacy component that channels farm-stand proceeds into camper savings accounts. Founded and led largely by women of color from the community; reduced-fee 'campership' aid is available for low-income families.
