Powered by GoogleThis is a great place for all kids including those that need special attention! Our son who has significant special needs have been participating in the summer camp Accomplish at Melwood for several years and we see that he really enjoys it. Team provides kids with physical disabilities a great opportunity to try activities that otherwise are very challenging for them - riding a horse, canoeing, flying on a giant swing, climbing, etc. All staff members are very caring and accommodating: camp supervisors Lulu and Samantha listen to parent's concerns if any and try to help; 1:1 aides/counselors are very friendly and patient with kids trying to make it the best summer for them. Thank you for your work and for giving a chance to all kids to have a wonderful summer!
We had an amazing experience sending our two children to Camp Accomplish - one child with a disability and his twin without. They both felt included, welcomed and had so much fun. They got to experience things that I never thought would be possible for one of my children, and we are already planning for their return next summer.
